The latest trailer for Sony’s “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (Part One)” is incredibly exciting and continues to build hype for the upcoming movie. The trailer shows Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) living his life as a regular high school student in his home universe, dealing with everyday problems like school and local villains. Although Miles’ parents want him to be happy and communicate with them, he keeps his secret identity hidden. However, things take a thrilling turn when Gwen (Hailee Steinfeld), Miles’ friend from another dimension, invites him on an adventure.

The first trailer hinted at conflicts between the different versions of Spider-Man, but the new trailer provides more clarity on why Miguel O’Hara (Oscar Isaac) will lead the fight against Miles. It appears that Miles may have to make a difficult decision between saving someone he loves or saving the entire universe, which could put him at odds with the other web-slingers.
Despite the heavy tone, the trailer also promises plenty of action, comedy, and excitement, similar to its predecessor. Fans can’t wait for the movie to premiere on June 2nd, 2023.
